For me, teaching is a great privilege. I feel very lucky to get to share technical skills, knowledge and ideas in a subject that I am passionate about.
The art room has a special place in schools. It is a place where students are challenged and grow in exciting ways. It allows studetns to discover the world through visual means as well as explore their own rich inner worlds through contemplation and expression.
In my practice I aim to foster an environment where students feelwelcome, encouraged, supported, challenged, included and confident.
